BPSSC Bihar Company Commander Recruitment 2026 (65 Posts)

BPSSC is recruiting 65 Gulma Samadeshta (Company Commander) posts in the Bihar Home Guard Vahini. Only enrolled Home Guards with a graduation and at least five years of service can apply.

Eligibility

• Graduation (BA/B.Sc/B.Com/BBA/BCA or equivalent) from a recognised university, passed on or before 01 August 2026.
• Enrolled and trained in the Bihar Home Guard Vahini with a minimum of 5 years duty and at least 10 years remaining service as on 01 August 2026.
• Age 24 to 50 years as on 01 August 2026 (all categories).
• Indian citizenship.

Application Fee

₹100 for all categories.

Selection Process

• Preliminary exam.
• Mains exam (Hindi qualifying + Paper‑2 merit).
• Physical Efficiency Test (qualifying).
• Medical, character and antecedent verification.

How to Apply

1. Visit the BPSSC official website.
2. Register and fill the online application form.
3. Upload required documents and pay the ₹100 fee via net banking, credit card, debit card or UPI.
4. Submit the application before 10 October 2026.

Applications are accepted only online. Do not post the form to the Commission.

1. Open the BPSSC Company Commander 2026 application portal (also linked from the Home Guard tab on bpssc.bihar.gov.in under Advt. No. 11/2026). The window is from 10 September 2026 to 10 October 2026.
2. Keep one active mobile number and email ID in your own name. Both are mandatory. Login details will be sent to that number and inbox for the rest of the process.
3. Complete Part-1 registration: name, nationality, mobile, email, Bihar domicile status, reservation category, gender and date of birth. You may edit details before paying.
4. Pay ₹100 online. After payment, Part-1 fields cannot be edited. Wrong data can only be fixed by cancelling the registration and paying again. The first fee is not refunded.
5. Log in for Part-2. Fill in father’s/husband’s name, mother’s name, address and educational details, then accept the declaration.
6. Upload a colour photo taken within the last two months (white background, 15–25 KB, .jpg/.jpeg/.gif) and separate English and Hindi signatures in black or blue ink (same size and format, white background). Resize files with the Photo & Signature Resizer before uploading.
7. Use Edit Details before you Confirm and Submit. After Submit, the Commission will not change the form.
8. Wait for the SMS/email confirmation. Print the acknowledgement on A4 and keep it. You do not need to send this printout to BPSSC unless asked later.

One candidate may file only one online application. One mobile number may be used for only one application. If more than one application is submitted, all applications of that candidate will be rejected.
